Conservation

The most important conservation need today is to preserve as much wild land as possible. Given the current trends in human population, immigration, lifespan, energy consumption, standard of living, residence sprawl, and economic development, wild land will continue to decrease and degrade. This includes every natural area from vacant lots and local marshes through wildlife refuges, national forests and parks, and formal wilderness areas. Such loss reduces habitat for wildlife and pristine areas for human enjoyment and renewal. Thus preserving these areas is our foremost conservation need. This can be done through curbing human populations, controlling development of wild lands, and restricting economic growth. Below are links to organizations that promote these endeavors.
